Think pair share is one of  cooperative learning strategy. this strategy developed by lyman to encourage students classroom participant. think pair share strategy, help students to work in group in discuss together with the partner. by this strategy, will build students to higher thinking and discuss any issue which it the teacher give the students limit topic to discuss in the class. usually, this strategy use to increase students speaking skill, where the teacher give students, any issue or topic to discuss to in pair and share with another students. there are step how to implemntation the think pair share strategy :
1. students think independentlyabout the issue or topic.
2. and  students sit in the pair and discuss the issue or topic saveral time to change any idea about the topic or issue.
3. then, the students share the problem with another students in the class.
This strategy is apllied in trhree steps They are thinking, pairing, and sharing By implementing the think-pair-share strategy, this study is intended to describe how the think-pair share strategy can increase students speaking skill.

  1. yes, we can use this method for improve students speaking skill. but sometime this method can't use just twice meeting but need more then twice. we need mix it with any method so that is not too bored for student and they happy to speak up in front of class.
    make sure the students really work in pair using in English because i often meet, students discuss in bahasa not english. so, the teacher need work hard to make they active and improve their speaking skill.

  2. I think you should more pay attention when you write about something. You should put the capital alphabet after the dot, there are so much the small alphabet after the dot, also about the name, you have to use the capital alphabet - Lyman. Thank you.

  3. Yes, it works if we use think pair to improve speaking skill. Because we have to speak in the class. Student can not avoid it.

    My comment to you. After dot in the last sentence, you have to use capital at first word.
